I was born and raised in a Real Estate family. After graduation I moved to San Diego for an adventure and started my Real Estate career there. Licensed in 2000, I worked for RE/MAX United as a Transaction Coordinator for 3 large offices handling contract to closing for many agents. With two years of managing contracts under my belt, I worked as a Buyers Broker for a top producing agent from 2002-2005. I moved back to New Mexico in 2006 and together with my mother, opened Elite Homes Realty. Working as a listing & buyers specialist and managing our office from 2006-present. In 2017 my husband & I along with our 3 amazing kids moved to Louisburg Kansas. Now a licensed broker in both Kansas & Missouri and after a year of working at Crown Realty in Louisburg, I have opened Elite Homes Realty here and am ready to bring my many years of experience to clients in the Midwest. I pride myself on attention to detail, true passion for working hard to achieve my clients goals, and knowledge of my profession. I have lived in Louisburg most of my life. After attending Louisburg Elementary and High School, I received a bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University. I taught business education at Louisburg High four years. My husband Mark is a farmer and we live on the family farm that his great grandfather homesteaded East of Louisburg. I received a master’s degree from Kansas University and taught adjunct business classes at Mid-America Nazarene College and Johnson County Community College. I began selling real estate in 1989. With a background in education, I like to think of myself as a “teacher”, rather than a “salesperson”. I enjoy working with people and helping them get the information and knowledge they need to make sound decisions about buying and selling real estate. The highest compliment a client can pay me is to refer their friends and family.

Outside of real estate, Doretta channels her energy into fitness and wellness, guiding others as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. When she’s not working or coaching, Doretta enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and exploring new places with her camera in hand. She’s inspired by the beauty of the world around her and is dedicated to helping clients find a home where they can create a fulfilling, balanced life.
